Our track at Thornborough is very easy to find, you want the A1 and the B6267.
From the south:- Trundle up the A1 until you reach the signs for Quernhow Cafe, immediately after the cafe is the slip road for the B6267, you should slow down in good time, then take a LEFT turn at the T junction .
Onto the B6267, take the third LEFT (2.6 miles from A1) (signposted WATH, MELMERBY, RIPON), just keep going toward WATH, do not turn right toward Thornborough village, the entrance to the track about a 1000 yards on your left.
From the North:- TURN LEFT at Sinderby, (B P Service Station at junction), keep left heading for Lighwater Valley, cross under A1 and follow above directions.
There are no nasty hills or narrow bits on the route but be aware that the WATH road is frequently used by heavy vehicles.
